About Us

The Property and Facilities Management Team (P&FM) is responsible for all non-housing property assets across the Council’s estate. We are comprised of a diverse team of professionals who are passionate about all aspects of property management and development covering everything from Leasing and Licencing though to reactive and planned maintenance, and capital programme. The team also has responsibility for corporate health and safety and business continuity and emergency planning.
About the Role
To provide technical support to the Property & FM service. The preparation and delivery of construction projects and services. The scope of work will generally range from statutory inspections, condition surveys, initiating reactive and programmed works.

This is a permanent position, Mon-Fri 36 hours per week.

Candidate Profile
Ideally, you should possess;
HNC or HND in Building Surveying, Construction or Engineering
Membership of Chartered Institute of Builders or Royal Institute of Builders or Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers or equivalent
Working knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts
Demonstrable skills and experience in construction covering planned and reactive maintenance and capital Programme.
Current best practice and legislation in health and safety and all areas of property related compliance and regulatory responsibilities.
Building management and FM (Facilities Management) related tasks
